Spinophorosaurus, the spike-bearing lizard from the Middle Jurassic, developed by Mesoart Studios and manufactured by Bullyland, was on my list of most interesting figures for 2011, scale 1:100. It was discovered in 2009 by paleontologists from the Staatliche Naturhistorisches Museum in Braunschweig, Germany. It is known from a nearly complete postcranial skeleton and skull elements. This is the classic museum figure candidate. Bullyland made it exclusively for the museum. The picture posted on the web is not attractive. The spines and limbs seem asymmetric and the skin is strongly scored with deep crosshatches. This is what Bullyland is good at and they should leverage it.
Protochirotherium made for the Wolfhagen, Museum Germany 2014.
