GeoWorld

GeoWorld released a horde of dinosaurs.  They have a vast range of species and types.  My favorites are the small theropods and small ornithopods seldom included in toy figure releases.  They remind me of the best and last of the Sky Kids Thunder Beasts releases.  It is still a challenge to find the Jurassic Hunters in many areas so I contacted PT retailer Dejankins for help.  I was pleased with my Thescelosaurus.   The 1:15 scale can be integrated with my CollectA 1:15 scale Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus.   This is a free standing bipedal figure with a long beaked mouth.  The cheeks are a nice detail.  One of reasons we see so few small ornithopods is they established a simple body plan in the Triassic  that did not really change and that makes them hard to physically differentiate.  The figure has small wide five-fingered hands, boney eyebrows, and a long tail.  The design got adventurous by including boney nodules along the midline of the neck.  One surprise was the coloring which was different from the catalogues; it has a yellow base coat with brown stripes and highlights.
