UKRD 1993

The 1993 3 inch Play set  of 12 figures. The UKRD stamp is being used although I have figures without it. I conjecture these were cast after the molds changed hands.  Colors can vary.  The Ankylosaurus looks like it is based on the Burien reconstruction of Scolosaurus.  Scolosaurus is now consider to be a junior synonym for Euplocephalus but it may alternately be DyoplosaurusAllosaurus is dropped from the line but Edmontosaurus is added along with Styracosaurus.  I use the the smaller Edmontosaurus for any of the small fabrosaurs or hypsilophidonts that populate the Mesozoic from the Triassic to the Cretaceous.

Photos and series numbers from the collection of Vladimir Trajanovski Ohrid, Macedonia.

The 1993 2 inch Play set of 12 figures. The UKRD stamp is not being used at this point. There are at least 3 different paint schemas. The design of the Styracosaurus  has changed from the 3 inch line.  It looks like it could be any of a range of centrosaurines.  These are still being sold as part of the Silver Dolphin Tube Books. This means the molds are still good.
